Something most people don’t know about me: I blog (almost) daily, and have for several years now. I find that words on paper, or a computer screen for that matter, flow from me in a way that I cannot speak out loud. Most people would be astonished to know that I feel so inadequate verbally… tongue tied, at a loss for words more often than not. I have worked hard to be able to share verbally, but the written word for me becomes something special, which is why I love to read the Word.
More often than not when I am alone, I am either reading, singing or writing.
When I write, I find an unusual freedom. On paper, I fly.
The only other time I feel as heard deep in my soul and heart? When I sing. With song? I soar.
Here I share some heart-wrenchingly honest words along the way. My fingers tap out a rhythm which comforts my soul, and reminds me that God is listening, hovering, embracing me through it all. I hope it encourages you to find your best voice, stepping moment by moment into your story as it unfolds each day.
Come by, read, laugh, cry, question, comment and join me as I write my walk. Let’s connect.
I write to remind myself daily of the hope I have in Him, no matter the season, pain or situation I find myself in.
I write because you may need that same reminder of your Hope too.
More than that, may you be embraced by His grace as you seek Him through each part of the story He is revealing in you along the way, as you too find hope in His Presence.
