PRAY about everything

When the day starts off so chilly you think body parts may fall off, you are weary to the core, your needs outweigh your budget, the van refuses to start, or you are nursing sick kids/spouse/your own cold? When the day ahead seems too steep to climb?
prayer (1)

We are reminded in His Word to PRAY. About everything on our mind.

But not just for ourselves. For one another too. Because all of us have days/seasons which we would love to end as soon as possible, whether relationship strains, work chaos, illness, stress, unexpected pain, loss or grief.⠀
We also come under enemy attack at times, especially when he is trying to shift our focus off of God and place it upon our problem or circumstances to distract and hinder us.⠀

We need one another’s prayers to help us make it through our hardest days.⠀

If someone comes to mind? Pray for them. Hear a coworker, friend, family member, neighbor is having a hard time? Lift them to God in prayer. Because in His Kingdom, He wants no one left behind. For we are all His children, and He desires all of us to be one family, united in love, supporting one another.⠀
Today’s verse reminds me of the importance of us coming together spiritually as we invite God, through prayer, to move into every situation, meeting both the need and blessing the needy ones:
“Be prepared. You’re up against far more than you can handle on your own. Take all the help you can get, every weapon God has issued, so that when it’s all over but the shouting you’ll still be on your feet. Truth, righteousness, peace, faith, and salvation are more than words. Learn how to apply them. You’ll need them throughout your life. God’s Word is an indispensable weapon. In the same way, prayer is essential in this ongoing warfare. Pray hard and long. Pray for your brothers and sisters. Keep your eyes open. Keep each other’s spirits up so that no one falls behind or drops out.” Ephesians 6:18 MSG⠀
