And it made me smile as it brought a tear to my eye.
God wanted me to know that our Hope cat is having a merry Christmas, fully healed and purring up a storm in His heavenly home.
God wanted me to know that despite having a sudden onset of a nasty infection, i can still have hope for a merry Christmas.
Hope only needs a tiny mustard seed of belief to take root in the human heart, where it can begin to grow deep under His loving care.
Hope is a wonder to behold!
Mary believed what the angel who visited her said to her in faith.
Not seeing the big pic.
Not knowing the how.
Only that she was chosen to carry the Messiah by God Himself.
Her hope in God lead the way for the Hope of the World coming our way.
You and I? We too can have hope this Christmas despite our circumstances, because our Hope proved Himself to us by coming to live, walk and love among us, from the manger to the cross to His forever place ruling in heaven.
For the hope of Christmas became the Hope for the whole world!
Especially in those human hearts that choose to put their hope in Him.
…and His Name will be the hope of all the world. Matthew 12:21 NLT
As Christmas draws closer, may you too be able to see Hope Himself extending His love.
May He fill your heart and mind with hope.
And may, like Mary, your belief take flight beyond your imagination as you place your hope in Him.
