strength for the days when its hard to keep moving

I lift my eyes upto the mountains, where does my help come from-

I am sore. All over. Its one of those days again, and I am not amused. I gave myself extra lounge time this morning before I had to get a go on, and the verses from Psalm 121 popped into my head.

I don’t need to do anything, let alone face today, in my own strength.

Help is on His way.

For “my strength comes from God, who made heaven, and earth, and mountains.” Psalm 121:1b MSG

My strength comes from God, who made heaven, and earth, and mountains.

God is able to be with us when ever we are in need of Him, Psalm 121:3-4 reassures us, for He never slumbers. He never sleeps. He never naps or accidentally dozes off!

Copy of My strength comes from God, who made heaven, and earth, and mountains.

But the last four verses of Psalm 121?  Completely wrecked my bad mood and made me instantly feel better once I took them in. 🙂

It doesn’t matter the weather, God’s got me covered!

God’s your Guardian, right at your side to protect you— shielding you from sunstroke, sheltering you from moonstroke. Psalm 121:5-6 MSG

God’s your Guardian, right at your side to protect you-shielding you from sunstroke, sheltering you from moonstroke.

But the last 2 verses in particular? Restarted my hope with a jolt of gratitude and wonder!

God guards you from every evil, He guards your very life.
He guards you when you leave and when you return, He guards you now, He guards you always! Psalm 121:7-8 MSG

God guards your very life from every evil.He guards you when you leave & return, now & for always.

As you journey throughout your day as well, let’s keep our eyes peeled for all the ways He will strengthen and guard us this day!
