When I feel uncertain of what may be up ahead, fear likes to slip inside my head to intimidate and try to overwhelm me. Maybe you can relate.
It can be subtle, or bulldoze you, but fear has only one job to do: take your eyes off of the One who is with you through it all.
Today, I needed the reminder that God is with me, and because He is?
Fear has to flee in the light of His Truth and Presence.
His Word is full of reminders not to fear. Today, I am sharing just a few of my favorite verses to combat fear, from the Message translation.
When fear attempts to strike, come out swinging with the Word.
May fear immediately take its leave as we choose to fill our minds with His Words of reminder and comfort, instead of allowing fear to try and tether us like marionettes.
