Jesus, I am reaching. I’m longing for You now to meet me in my weakness and heal me with Your power. I wanna see You. Open up my eyes, I wanna see You tonight. Matt Brouwer
Its all I can do this morning to not burst out with loud sobs of longing. My heart is desperately seeking Him, and doesn’t want to stay contained.
So I sing, and I write as I record my yearning for my Bridegroom, right here and right now.
And I know He meets me here.
For this longing I have is amplified beyond comprehension in the One who loves me, you, so.
He can barely wait until we get to embrace once and for all, forever. His Bride with Him, always.
For just as He longs for us to come, His Bride is longing for His arrival.
“Come!” say the Spirit and the Bride. Whoever hears, echo, “Come!” Is anyone thirsty? Come! All who will, come and drink, Drink freely of the Water of Life! Revelation 22:17
When I long to be in His Presence, I reflect the constant longing in His heart for me.
I pray that you too will be stirred up with a fresh desire for the Bridegroom. That as His Bride, you too would make yourself ready for His arrival.
For one day soon, we won’t just be His fiancee anymore, but His fully embraced Bride.
