woman of wonder, arise

In His strength we can face all things, standing on Him as our Rock, and fight secure from His stronghold.

In His strength we can face all things, standing on Him as our Rock, and fight secure from His stronghold.

YOU are able to do anything when He is your strength, Beloved.

Yes, you.

God has your back, and not only is He loving you and covering you with His Presence, He also equips you with exactly what you need.

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:10-12

God knows we need reminding of who we are in Him, and to put on our complete armor so we can keep standing on the hard days.  Its why He included these verses in Ephesians.

Because we have the tendency to think everything that goes wrong is all about us, when it is really now all about the God in us.  His enemy doesn’t see us without seeing Him in us, which is why He plots to try to hinder, hurt or thwart us whenever he can. And as he is a spiritual being, we need different weapons than if he was human like us.

God gives us the exact weaponry we need to stand and defeat His enemy, our enemy.

Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm. Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and, as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace. Ephesians 6:13-15

We are to clothe ourselves by fastening truth to us, so His Word and righteousness will defend us, and be our guide.

In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one; Ephesians 6:16

The shield of faith, our trust in the One we are following, is our defense.  For He is our stronghold of safety, the hiding place we are meant to make our home in, and will defend His Beloved at all costs.  Our shield is to be God Himself!

and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints. Ephesians 6:17-18

Wearing our new identity as His children, we are to take the Word and pray as the Spirit leads us as our active part in spiritual warfare, keeping alert for His direction as to how and what, when and where to pray.

God is to handle all the rest.

For the battle belongs to Him, and He is going to ferociously fight until His enemy is defeated, as He keeps His Beloved in His sights at all times. And that includes you and me, Wonder Woman.

You and I can claim that phrase because He wonderously made you a woman.  And the truest of wonders, You have captured the heart of the King of All, who will always come to your aid, and never ever leave your side.

So arise, woman of wonder. Put on and take up your full set of armor, lift up your voice in praise and prayer, and walk in the shadow of His Presence.

God is with you.

God is for you.

God has you.
