simplify

The ability to simplify means to eliminate the unnecessary so that the necessary may speak.

-Hans Hofman

Its time to clear out the unnecessary clutter filling my head so the simple yet necessary voice I desperately need can become clear to hear.

Sometimes I try to figure out all the angles of a situation and how people will respond, instead of just owning my part, leaving the rest to happen as it unfolds.

The time I waste fretting over the imaginary ‘what ifs’ can never be recaptured.

In an effort to get healthier in every area of my life, I am undergoing a summer makeover challenge, hopefully with a few friends & blog readers:

Each week, there will be a challenge to help us simplify our life in one area for those seven days.  No two weeks will be the same, just as no two of us will have the same results.

Living with Less in My Nest refers to not only your home, but where you work & what is going on inside of you.

The end goal?

More Rest
Less Stress
More God
Less Stuff
More Health
Less Debt
More Me
Less Waste
More Joy

Join me as we simplify our lives  together.

The purpose?

Becoming the whole person God intends for me, us to be with less holding us back- physically, emotionally, mentally, financially, spiritually &  professionally.

There is no time like the present.

As we overhaul our inner & outer nest, I can hardly wait to see what God is going to do with us.

Less of Me means More of Him.

For His glory.
